Should I buy furniture from Hometown or Homecentre? Which one is better?

There was this dark brown sticky grime on the plates. It seemed that the people there were just offloading this crockery as it could not be sold in the shops as fresh piece. Very very disappointed with the product and the services. I have received several promises that my table would be delivered.

Poor after sales service on products…

The items available to ship now do not match the style of existing teak furniture on my deck. Also items you ordered is hopefully arriving soon, will update you later today.. The delivery men scratched my new oak floor plank on the stairs and put a dent in another by setting a very heavy dresser down on them. I just received "I'm sorry to hear that". Would like the company to contact me in regards to when I can expect delivery of the new dresser. I would also like to know if they are going to attempt to repair the chest of drawers or replace that piece of furniture. Ordered one TV unit which was supposed to deliver on 14th April. Not deliver hence we have CANCELED the order.

They are not professional with customers. They are pargering to give my money back after canceling an order before I receive it. One time they said that they didn't have cash to pay 2099 SAR, second time they said they had a robbery and run out of money. Hi I was placing an order online for two items online on homecentre app. It know that I would need to go through a horrendous experience trying to buy stuff from homecentre.

Can you explain why the Home centre is making a fool out of their customers? Since 24 September 2022, my consignment has been out for delivery but has still not been delivered. Even a Customer care executive provides false intimations about the status of delivery. You brought to our attention your concern regarding the heavy furniture that was to be hauled upstairs and as per you, there was some damage / marks to your steps and or floor during the process. We have requested you to please provide us images of the same. Unfortunately due to COVID, furniture deliveries have been extremely challenging.

I purchased this mattress(order #) through the home centre app to use the Rio King bed, which I bought directly from the Homecenter store. We ordered modular kitchen, paid 2.16 lakhs even before the delivery of items. Homecentre delayed the delivery after taking the full payment.

Always very worst experience from landmark group stores. Few months back i ordered a shirt from centerpoint and got the wrong product. Their customer service is soooo disappointing which make my temper high everytime i contact them because they are like parrots. They cannot solve the issues only they tell the same things repeatedly which will very different from whats the issue. I bought a dinner set online by click n collect and when i got in my hand it was another product.

EVEN after repeated calls to customer care, money is not refunded till date as on 23rd April. Mercy is that, they have lodged a return request for a product which is never delivered only. Thank you Eptihad from customer support team.

The same things goes with what i experienced from centerpoint here also. I purchased bedroom set from Home Center Abu Dhabi. Someone from quality department visited my home for inspection. I bought a dining table and chairs from Homecenter, Phoenix Mall, Bengaluru on 4th of June, 2022. The products got delivered in damaged condition and thus, I asked for a replacement. The replacement product also got delivered in damaged condition.

Homecentre — Need my money back

This was a product purchased online and their products are of very poor quality .On complaint they have yet to replace the defective product. Also I got a mail and message that it will be picked up in 3-4 days which have already passed. This is very unprofessional attitude with customers. My money is stuck and defective product lying in middle of living room. I have purchased Recliner sofa and dining table set from home centre, where I have received dining table damaged product.

It will cost us another $350.00 to make a 3 rd attempt to deliver your furniture. I had ordered online these really expensive dinner plates costing Rs 700 per plate. The plates came packed nicely but were old, dirty and full of grime. The golden line on the plates were faded as if someone had used the plate.

I then, asked for a refund as all this process already took around a month's time. Sine, then its been around one and a half month now and only thing I've received till now is lies and random talks.... Ordered a king size bed online and they delivered the wrong dimensions of the bed’s parts. When I raised a ticket, they told me they would send the replacement parts after 10 days. What’s the point of scheduling an order on a particular date when they are so negligent?

Used for 10 months, the metal leg frame broke off at the welds. No explanation on how exactly they came to this conclusion that it was mishandled. It cost 1400aed and to only be able to use for 10 months is obviously not worth it. I have called more than 15 times and mails, visited home centre store as well.
